UCLA Patient Battling Rare Brain Cancer Shares Personal Struggles and Coping Methods

The Los Angeles Times Jan. 14 reported on a woman living with oligodendroglioma, one of the rarest forms of brain cancers for 18 years. The patient explained how she has learned to cope with the life debilitating disease. Dr. Timothy Cloughesy, professor of neurology, director of the neuro-oncology program and a member of UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, is one of Kaufman's doctors who was quoted.
