The International Business Times and KABC-AM on June 21, and KTTV-TV on June 22, featured research led by UCLA and Massachusetts General Hospital, identifying the first definitive genes associated with Tourette syndrome. The article quoted Dr. Giovanni Coppola, co-senior author of the study and a professor of psychiatry and neurology at UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
